Watches have always fascinated me, but it all began when I received a wristwatch as a gift in my second year at school. A beautiful watch with a white dial and a red seconds hand. It ran smoothly and accurately for several weeks. Then water got under the crystal and it stopped. After a visit to the watchmaker, it ran for another week.
I suspect many people’s first encounters with watches began in much the same way.

For more than ten years, I have taken a deeper interest in watches, spending many days and nights reading and researching. In 2018, I decided that reading was no longer enough: it was time to do something. From the outset, my aim was to turn that research and study into wristwatches that both their owners and their maker could be proud of.
I believe that making a good watch takes more than an idea for striking hands or a dial. That is why I began studying watchmaking at the British Horological Institute in England, of which I remain a member. My studies continue, hopefully for many years to come: centuries of craftsmanship and knowledge are still waiting to be discovered and put into practice. Learning is a journey, and every finished watch is a milestone that brings together the best of the maker’s skills and knowledge at that moment.
